China- Romania Friendship Association


The China-Romania Friendship Association was established on September 30, 1958. It is seated in Beijing,its president is Mr. Su Guang, former vice president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). 

The China-Romania Friendship Association is a national non-governmental organization under the guidance of CPAFFC and  the supervision of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. Its aims are: to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples, to expand bilateral exchanges and cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, trade, science and technology, society, culture, education, etc.,to safeguard world peace. Its activities include: 1, to develop friendly relations and cooperation with the Romanian people from various circles, to enhance understanding and friendship by holding commemorative activities, seminars and exchanging information; 2, to work with related organizations to carry out economic, social and scientific cooperation and talents exchange to promote friendly relations; 3, to conduct people-to-people cultural exchanges including dispatching and receiving non-governmental cultural and artistic delegations and personages, paying friendly visits, holding performances and exhibitions.
