China- Poland Friendship Association


The China-Poland Friendship Association was founded on September 30, 1958. Mr. Buhe, former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress is its current president. Formerly, Mr. Shen Yanbing, Mr. Zhou Peiyuan served as its president. The Association is seated in Beijing.

The China-Poland Friendship Association is a national non-governmental organization of the People’s Republic of China under the guidance and supervision of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Its main purpose is to enhance the understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Poland, to promote exchanges and cooperation in politics, economy, trade, science and technology, society, culture, education and other aspects, and to safeguard world peace.

Its activities include: 1, to develop friendly relations and cooperation with the Romanian people from various circles, to enhance understanding and friendship by holding commemorative activities, seminars and exchanging information; 2, to work with related organizations to carry out economic, social and scientific cooperation and talents exchange to promote friendly relations; 3, to conduct people-to-people cultural exchanges including dispatching and receiving non-governmental cultural and artistic delegations and personages, paying friendly visits, holding performances and exhibitions.
